When the Invoice Calculation Matrix Profiles Module & Function is enabled, the Matrix Profiles QuickLink becomes visible on the Invoice Calculation Matrix screen. To find it, follow these steps.
Click Settings, then click Finance,
Click Invoice, then click Calculation Matrix.
📌 Note: The options selected when the user first enables the global Invoice Calculation Matrix Profiles setting default to the global matrix calculations, and it is these calculations which are applied when none of the named profiles is assigned to a customer.
To create a matrix profile, follow these simple steps.
From the QuickLinks, select Matric Profiles.
Click the plus icon, then enter a Description.
Configure the calculation options for the Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annually tabs.
Click save.
Apply to service users
When the Invoice Calculation Matrix Profiles Module & Function is enabled, there are two new drop-downs called Fixed Invoice Calculation Matrix Profile and Service Package Calculation Matrix Profile visible on the Invoice tab of a customer record.
To get started, you'll need to navigate to the service user profile. To do this, follow these steps.
Click Service User, then click Service User.
Click Find, then locate the relevant service user.
Once you are in the customer's profile, follow these simple steps.
Select the Service Funder tab, then select the Invoice tab.
Select a profile from the Fixed Invoice Calculation Matrix Profile drop-down if required.
Select a profile from the Service Package Calculation Matrix Profile drop-down if required.
Click Save.
By default, both drop-downs are blank. The options in these drop-downs are based on the Matrix Profiles shown in the Matrix Profiles grid.
When no options are selected in either the Fixed Invoice or Service Package Calculation Matrix Profile drop-downs, the global profile is in effect. Where a matrix profile is selected in either the Fixed Invoice or Service Package Calculation Matrix Profile drop-downs, the options in that profile determine the calculated values when setting up a fixed invoice or service package.
