In this article, you will be able to add, remove, and change cancellation types.
Create cancellation types
Click Settings, then click Finance.
Click Cancellation, then Types.
Click the (+) icon.
Enter the details as per the table below.
Finally, click Save.
Field Name | Description |
Description | A short description of the cancellation type. |
Type | This can be set to either Flat Fee or Percentage. Flat fee is a set value for the cancellation type, whereas a percentage would be a percentage of the original invoice/pay amount. |
Pay | This is where you define the flat fee or percentage at which the cancellation will be paid. |
Flat Fee Invoice | This is where you define the flat fee or percentage at which the cancellation will be invoiced. |
Hide in Invoice Generation if Zero | If this is ticked, when the invoice value of the visit is equal to zero, it will not appear on the generated invoice. |
Hide in Payroll Generation if Zero | If this is ticked, when the pay value of the visit is equal to zero, it will not appear on the generated payroll. |
Include Travel Calculation | If this is ticked, the system will still calculate travel to and from the visit as per the travel rate sheet. |
Remove a cancellation type.
To remove old cancellation types that are still appearing on the planning screen, see the steps below:
Click Settings
Click Other
Click Company
Click Branches on the right side
Select the branch you wish to amend the cancellation type for by clicking the arrow.
Tick the ones you only wish to see
Click Save.
๐Note: The Cancellation types that haven't been ticked won't appear for anyone under that Branch.
Change the cancellation type on a visit.
To be able to change the visit's cancellation type to another option already in the system. Please follow the below;
Click Finance.
Click Visit.
Click Reconciliation.
Find the Employee and click the arrow
Select the visit
Scroll down to service types & rates
Select a Cancellation Type from the dropdown.
Click Save.
