In this video demonstration, we show all the key feature changes to records.
Access Care Rostering now offers a more intuitive and efficient way to manage records across four key categories:
β’ Employee
β’ Applicant
β’ Service User
β’ Funder
Record navigation
When searching for a new record, all types now appear on a single page with scroll functionality, making it easier to browse and select. Once inside a record, the previously separate tabs have been merged into a single scrollable view. This removes the need to click through multiple tabs; simply scroll to enter or review information.
Quicklinks are now displayed as tabs along the top of each record. If any tasks are overdue, a red dot appears above the relevant tab for quick visibility. Key details can be edited using the new pen icon.
Enhanced tab structure
Several tabs have been reorganised for clarity:
Holiday Details and Holiday Adjustments are now separate tabs.
The Decline List has its own dedicated tab.
Links to related pages are conveniently located in the top-right corner.
Records can be terminated with a single click using the new Terminate button.
Seamless integration with Access Care Planning
A new feature enables users to open records directly in Access Care Planning from within Access Care Rostering. This is particularly useful for quick cross-platform access when managing care plans.
Payroll and payment improvements
Payroll history and ad hoc payments are now easier to access; just scroll down within the record to view these sections.
Updated save and discard options
The classic save disc icon has been replaced with a contemporary Save button. A new Discard button allows users to easily undo changes if required.
Refreshed interface and functionality
Tabs such as Training and Qualifications may appear slightly different, but all existing information remains unchanged.
To add a new record, click the Add New button.
Records can now be sorted by clicking on the column headers.
The green circle indicator has been removed across all screens.
Audit logs can be accessed via the Audit Log button in the top-right corner.
Users can now upload images for service users, employees, and applicants directly into their records.
Service user record enhancements
Service user records have been updated with new features: A Templates tab now makes template viewing easier. Separate tabs for Competent Employee and Authorised Employee offer clearer role tracking. The Suspend Service feature can now be accessed and modified with one click in the top-right corner.
