To view the availability section, tap the View My Availability tile or tap the Availability icon from the bottom panel.
The day view of availability shows availability bars for availability/unavailability instances, a brief description of the availability type, and the time to which it relates, e.g., Sickness 09:00-17:00.
Changing the displayed day can be done via the arrows.
Availability Month
Within the availability section, selecting the Month tab at the top of the screen will display a calendar of the current month and a summary of availability relating to a selected date at the bottom of the screen.
The selected month can be changed via the arrows.
Within the calendar view, dates that include an availability, unavailability, or holiday record are marked with a small dot icon beneath the date. This visual cue helps users quickly identify days with recorded status.
When you select a date that includes availability records, the summary view below the calendar will automatically update to display the relevant details for that day.
Edit availability and holiday
The availability section allows employees to manage their working preferences and time off. From this area, users can make changes to their availability, submit unavailability requests, and request holidays.
To update or add to existing availability, or to submit an unavailability request, select the Edit Availability button. This opens a form where you can specify the details of your request, including:
The type of availability.
The days it applies to.
The hours of availability.
A summary of the request.
This streamlined process ensures that all availability-related updates are clearly recorded and submitted for review.
Availability requests automatically apply to the week starting from the date currently viewed in the availability section. Adding availability does not require approval, while adding unavailability does.
To manage your holiday schedule, simply click the View Holiday button located in the availability section. This will take you to a dedicated page where you can:
View a list of your existing holiday requests.
Check the approval status of each request, e.g., Approved, Declined, or Awaiting Approval.
Submit a new holiday request directly from the same page.
Clicking the Request Holiday button opens a form showing your holiday balance, selected dates and times, and a summary of the request.
πNote: Deleting a holiday is only possible for holiday requests with a status of pending approval. Users are unable to delete approved or declined holiday requests.
