Enable service packages

In this article, we explain what you need to do to enable service packages.

The service package feature allows the facility to charge for care hours at a prearranged rate, rather than per-duty. This is especially beneficial when charging a fixed amount for care and adding an additional cost only for additional hours or cancellations.

To enable this feature, you'll need to contact the support team and ask that they enable the service package module and function under finance.

Once enabled, you can change the terminology for service packages by following these simple steps.

  1. Click Settings, then click Other.

  2. Click Terminology, then click Systems.

  3. Select the Finance tab.

  4. Add the terminology you want to service packages.

  5. Click save.
