Detailed features
Timeline runs
Care Coordinators can now use the Timeline Runs feature to group service duties together, perhaps on a geographical basis, to better plan the allocation of resources.
To get started, enable 'New Timeline Planning – Runs' from Modules & Functions then create runs by going to the Manage Runs link in the context panel on Timeline or through the navbar Rostering > Other > Runs; and click the 'Add new' link in the top right of the Runs grid.
Once runs have been created, go to the Timeline screen and change the Mode option to Runs.
You can then visualise the duties by Service Locations or by Employees and allocate to a run either through drag and drop or use the right hand interactive context panel. When in Runs mode, the colour scheme of the duties will change depending on whether it has been allocated to a run which makes it easy to see which duties still need to be moved onto a run.
Improvements to the Interactive Panel
Notes
In the timeline context panel there is a new Notes tab which displays all of the notes made against a particular duty. Simply select the duty and click the Notes tab in the context panel to view or even update them, without needing to open the duty in full.
Duty summary
Hovering over a duty will show a new Summary tab in the context panel which shows key information, without needing to select the duty and navigate through the various tabs. This can be very useful if you just want a quick insight into planned vs actual, the allocated employee or run and the various duty notes.
Apply template
Selecting a duty will show the option to ‘Apply template’ in the context panel. This allows for the defined employee duty allocations within an existing template relating to the service user to be applied to the week currently being viewed. This can be extremely useful to accelerate the allocation process.
Care payments
Through our new Care Payments feature, your service funders can now pay their invoices online through a single card payment or direct debit. Once your system has been configured to support this, you will be able to choose which invoice runs can be paid online, take payments through a Pay Now button on the invoice and track who has paid.
