Demo video

In this demo video, we demonstrate how to use your screen more effectively, enabling you to see more of the planning screen.

Access Care Rostering opens within Access Eco, which makes the planning screen appear more compact; however, there are a few things you can do to optimise the use of the screen.

Planning screen

To make the most of the planning interface, consider these helpful tips:

Feature

Description

Zoom functionality

Adjust your view using the built-in zoom feature. Zoom out to 40% to see a full 24-hour schedule at a glance.

Hide the right-hand panel

Collapse the right-hand panel by clicking the green arrow to free up space. Click again to restore it.

Adjust employee or service user view

Drag the divider between sections to prioritise either employees or service users. This layout adapts to your current workflow needs.

Apply and hide filters

Use filters to focus on specific areas or branches. After applying, toggle the hide toolbars option to conceal filters and expand your timeline view.

Right click

A new right-click menu has been introduced, allowing users to manage visits with ease. By simply right-clicking on a scheduled visit, you can now: allocate, unallocate, copy, and cancel visits.

Additionally, a new arrow icon next to each service user's or employee’s name provides quick access to their full weekly schedule. With a single click, you can view all planned visits for the week, helping you identify gaps, overlaps, or opportunities for optimisation.

Access Evo

Access Evo also offers several ways to optimise screen space:

Feature

Description

Hide the taskbar

Click the hide tabs icon to remove distractions and focus on your planning.

Full-screen mode

Press F11 or FN + F11 to switch your browser to full-screen mode, giving you a broader view.

Keyboard zoom shortcuts

Use CTRL + or CTRL - to zoom in or out for even more control over your display. This provides a more expansive view than Access People Planner.
