Demo video
In this video, we demonstrate the differences between Access People Planner and Access Care Rostering.
Key differences
Access Care Rostering maintains all the core features of Access People Planner, but with a refreshed layout and some usability improvements to make your experience smoother.
Tabs like HR and Service User, which were previously at the top in Access People Planner, are now inside a collapsible panel on the left side. This change maximises screen space and creates a cleaner, more focused workspace.
The traditional back arrow has been replaced with a more intuitive Back button. A breadcrumb menu has also been added, allowing you to jump straight to a previous page without repeatedly clicking back.
A new Care Rostering Timeline button appears on every page. It opens as an overlay, so you can view and interact with the timeline without losing your place. When you close it, youโll return exactly where you left off.
Unlike Access People Planner, which allowed opening new windows directly, Access Care Rostering requires you to duplicate your browser tab:
1. Click the three dots on the Access Care Rostering tab.
2. Select Duplicate.
3. To move the duplicate to another screen, click the URL bar, press Shift+Enter, and drag the new window as needed.
To log out of Access Care Rostering, just log out of Access Evo:
1. Click your name in the top-right corner.
2. Select Logout.
Previously, sessions in Access People Planner would time out after 45 minutes of inactivity. Now, as long as you're logged into Access Evo, your session in Access Care Rostering stays active.
